This month we are diving into scripture to see how we can use our gifts to glorify God.
Each of us has been uniquely equipped by Him with talents and abilities meant to reflect His love and creativity to the world.
Whether your gift is encouraging others, serving behind the scenes, creating, leading, or something entirely different, God has a purpose for it.
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. (1 Peter 4:10 NIV)

A Prayer for the Month:
Dear Lord, Thank You for the unique gifts and talents You’ve placed within me. I recognize that they are not mine alone but are entrusted to me to bring You glory and serve others. Help me to see the opportunities around me to use these gifts in ways that honor You. When I feel inadequate or tempted to compare myself to others, remind me that You’ve created me with a purpose and that You delight in my obedience. Guide me to use what You’ve given me boldly and faithfully, for Your Kingdom and Your glory. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Using Your Gifts for God
God created each of us with unique abilities and talents, not by accident, but with a specific purpose in mind.
Your gifts are a reflection of His creativity and love, and He wants you to use them to bring Him glory.
Whether you excel in leadership, teaching, music, hospitality, or something else entirely, your gifts are part of a larger picture—a way to serve others and point them to Christ.
The Bible reminds us in 1 Peter 4:10, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
This means our gifts aren’t meant to be hidden or used selfishly; they are tools entrusted to us by God to share His love and truth with the world.
Sometimes it’s easy to fall into the trap of comparison or self-doubt, thinking that our gifts aren’t significant enough or that someone else could do it better.
But God doesn’t call us to compare; He calls us to faithfulness. What matters to Him is not the size or visibility of our gifts but our willingness to use them with a heart of humility and obedience.
Even small acts done in love can have an eternal impact when they’re surrendered to Him.
So whether you’re raising children, creating art, writing a blog, volunteering at church, or encouraging a friend, know that God is delighted when you honor Him with what He has entrusted to you.
Every gift, no matter how big or small, is an opportunity to reflect His goodness and point others to His glory.
