Faith Over Fear Bible Reading Plan

This month we are diving into scripture to learn how to walk in faith and not fear.

Life can be overwhelming at times, with challenges that leave us feeling uncertain, anxious, or even paralyzed by fear.

But as followers of Christ, we’re called to a different way of living—a life rooted in trust, anchored in His promises, and filled with confidence that God is always with us.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9 NIV)

A Prayer for the Month:

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your constant presence and unchanging love. When fear begins to rise in my heart, help me to turn my eyes to You. Strengthen my faith so that I can trust in Your promises, even when circumstances are uncertain. Remind me that You are greater than anything I may face and that Your perfect love casts out all fear. Fill me with Your peace and courage, and guide me to walk in faith, knowing You are always with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Walking in Faith – Not Fear

Life has a way of bringing unexpected challenges that can easily stir up fear in our hearts.

Whether it’s a difficult situation at work, uncertainty about the future, or even personal struggles, fear can creep in and take hold of us if we let it.

But as believers, we’re reminded that God has given us a spirit not of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

Having a spirit of faith over fear means embracing the truth that God is greater than any challenge we face.

It’s about trusting that His power is at work in us and through us, even when things feel overwhelming. Instead of letting fear dictate our actions, we’re called to rely on the strength and courage that come from God.

This kind of faith doesn’t ignore the reality of our circumstances; instead, it chooses to see those circumstances through the lens of God’s promises.

When we focus on His love for us, fear loses its grip. When we remember that God’s Spirit within us is one of power, we can face challenges with confidence.

And when we practice self-discipline, we keep our thoughts and actions aligned with faith rather than letting fear lead us astray.

So, the next time you feel fear creeping in, take a moment to breathe and remember the Spirit that God has placed within you. Lean into His power, embrace His love, and let faith guide your steps.

With God’s Spirit in you, there’s no room for fear—only faith, courage, and peace.
