Most of us at some point have read the famous quote from the Bible, “With God, all things are possible.” It’s plastered over walls, coffee mugs, and t-shirts. It’s a wonderful encouragement to know that God has our best interests and He is with us every day.
“With God, All Things Are Impossible” is a beautiful passage reminding us that God can do anything; he’s omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent. He can take someone like ‘little old’ us, and use us for His glory.
What Does It Mean That All Things Are Possible With God
We often hear this phrase – “With God, all things are impossible.” – but what does it actually mean?
The first thing (and probably the most important) is to remember that God works things out for us according to His Will, not ours. In other words, things most often don’t work out the way we want them to because God has bigger (and different) plans for us.
But this phrase is meant to give us the hope and confidence to push through when times are tough.
The armor of God shield we’re promised as Christians gives us the faith to endure the hard times, not necessarily avoid the hard times we encounter. With God, all things work for His purpose, not how we think our lives should go.
All Things Are Possible with God Verses
Let me get to the meat of the meaning. Over and over again in scripture, it reveals that we must have faith in Him and His works. We only see difficulties through our own lens, not God’s bird’s eye view. He knows what’s best for us and how to draw us closer to Him. He loves us unconditionally.
Here are 15 “All Things Are Possible with God” verses to remind us that God is in charge and that through Him, anything is possible. Nothing is too hard for God and nothing can stand against God!

Because of God, All Things Are Possible!
So, when you don’t think you can’t live another day as a single mother, you can! When you don’t believe you have a powerful story to tell others, the Spirit does! If you lose a child and can’t live one more day with them – remember, God IS right here and is taking care of YOU and your baby!
It doesn’t matter what your situation is — don’t ask God to take the difficulties from you, instead, ask for God’s will for your life and don’t think it’s impossible for you. As Christians, we have the privilege to go to the throne and ask for anything according to His purpose. Isn’t that wonderful?!!
With all of the heartaches in this world, we sometimes ask “Where is God?” Or, “Why is God allowing suffering?”
In Genesis 18:14, God told Abraham that he was going to have a son even though he was pretty old. Abraham was puzzled as to how this could happen. God’s answer was, “Is anything too hard for the LORD?” And, Jeremiah reminds us as we saw earlier that there is nothing “too hard” for God.
Did you know that there are over thirty thousand promises in the Bible? Since God cannot lie, all of those promises have been fulfilled or will be kept.

In fact, whatever your prayer may be, it’s not too hard for the Lord to answer. Remember, Jesus proclaimed in Matthew 21:22, “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” When you ask through prayer and believe, you’ll receive. See, it’s all about faith, my friend.
There is no problem too hard, too difficult, or too big for God. As we’ve established, God may not resolve your issue the way you expect, but He will solve it, it’s a promise! With God, ALL things ARE possible!
