The very first step in creating a successful blog is to fully define your target audience (also known as your “Avatar”). Your target audience is the foundation for everything you will do to include:
- the topics you write about
- the freebies you create to build your email list
- the products you promote and/or create to generate income.
A Target Audience identifies 3 things:
- WHO you are writing to
- WHAT your blog offers them
- HOW you will serve them (the content)
