Well, I’m here to tell you – YES!! There is an abundance of free and paid online Bible studies for women!
Free online Bible studies are a great way to immerse yourself in God’s Word when you can’t get together in person. And in the difficult times, we now face with more people being cut off from attending a Bible Study in person, these free online Bible Study options are even more important!
I know that my time in the Word is lacking. But I also know that it is hard for me to just sit down and start reading the Bible. I decided that this year I would find some great online studies to help me really understand and apply what I’m reading.

Free Online Bible Studies for Women
Let’s be honest, it can be a bit difficult to just sit down and start reading the Bible. It can be hard to absorb what is being said without real-life context and application.
There is a huge difference between simply “reading” the Bible and truly “understanding” what you have read. If you don’t understand it all, what is the point of reading it in the first place?
That’s why free online Bible studies are an excellent way to truly understand the many stories of the Bible – and how to apply them to your own life.
I’ve compiled a list of some amazing free online Bible Studies for women (by women) so you can find the one that best fits your needs and learning style!
Living by Design Free Online Bible Studies
Living by Design with Sarah Koontz equips women to explore the beauty of God’s design through easy-to-understand bible studies delivered through email each week. These completely free online Bible studies are meant to be read in 15 minutes a day and the best part is that there is no need to buy a workbook to complete the studies.
Love God Greatly
Love God Greatly is a non-profit organization providing free online Bible study resources to women around the country and are translated into 20+ languages!
Each study does have a supplement journal that you can purchase but you can download the actual study for free if you can’t afford the journal. Proceeds of the journal sales go toward funding the training of translators.
Anne Graham Lots
Anne Graham Lotz provides a variety of free online Bible studies to fit your needs. You can choose from “3-question studies” or “devotional” style studies focus on specific topics.
Proverbs 31 Ministries
Proverbs 31 Ministries is headed up by Christian Author Lysa Terkeurst. They offer a variety of free online Bible studies, but they do ask that you buy the accompanying book to get the most out of it. In addition to the book, you also have access to social media, small groups, and community groups to get the most out of the study.
They also offer the First 5 Daily Bible Study app which helps you to set reminders and prioritize your daily Bible study time.
Ladies Drawing Nigh
Ladies Drawing Nigh offers FREE online Bible studies.! All you need is an open heart, a Bible, a notebook, an internet connection, and 15 minutes per day.
They also provide other resources to help you grow in your prayer life.
Time Warped Wife
Time Warped Wife provides a wide variety of free online Bible studies on different topics. Most come with a study workbook that you can purchase, but she also has several workbooks that you can download for free.
Simply Scripture
Simply Scripture offers live interactive free online Bible studies through their Facebook group. You can purchase the accompanying workbook (but not required), and videos are archived in case you can’t make them live.
She Reads Truth
She Reads Truth offers a great selection of Bible reading plans, along with study journals you can purchase to help supplement each study.
They also have a wonderful She Reads Truth podcast.
Online Bible Studies
In addition to the free online Bible studies mentioned above, you should also check out some of these online studies. While not free, they do offer a very wide selection of studies on various topics, along with study workbooks for purchase.
Lifeway Women Online Bible Studies
Lifeway Women provides an amazing community to help you stay connected to God’s Word. They offer free and paid Bible studies, a podcast, and much more!
Women Living Well
Women Living Well offers a selection of Bible study workbooks as well as a Facebook group where you can discuss each study and connect with other Christian women.
You can also find some free resources to use to supplement your study time.
The Daily Grace Co
The Daily Grace Co offers a great selection of Bible studies, study resources, as well as faith-filled gift items. In addition to their shop, you can also find spiritual nourishment from their blog, app, and podcast.
