Gift Ideas for Bible Study Group Members

The friendships made in Bible study groups are simply amazing! Not only are you growing deeper in your relationship with them, but you are also growing closer to God together with them. What better way to show your appreciation for them being in your life that to give them a gift that helps them to continue growing in their faith!

Whether you are the group leader shopping for gifts for the entire group, or you are doing a gift exchange among the members of your group, I’ve put together some of the most thoughtful and popular gift ideas or Bible study group members.

The truth is that Christian women are pretty easy to shop for because you only need to find something with a sprinkle of Jesus on it! The ideas are really endless: devotionals, a new Bible, study tools, bookmarks, wall decor, etc. For me personally, my friends all know that I love faith-inspired coffee mugs (so I don’t always have the same one on my Instagram pics!)

Bible Study Tools & Resources

Anything to help during Bible study time makes the perfect gift! Here are just a few ideas of some things that I know the women in your Bible study group would absolutely love and enjoy.

Bible in a Year

Many women feel quite intimidated and overwhelmed in trying to read the Bible. This Woman’s Guide to Reading the Bible in a Year breaks it down into a manageable format and helps her really understand what she is reading and how to apply it to her life.

Women's Prayer Journal

A Women’s Prayer Journal is another gift idea that any member of your group would be excited to receive. This one, in particular, is great because it is meant to cover her for an entire year of prayer and journaling so she can see how God moves in her life throughout the year.

A Bible Study Journal is great because they’ll be able to use it each time your group meets to jot down notes from that week’s lesson and reflect on them during the week.

Bible Journaling Supplies

My women’s Bible study group is actually a Creative Bible journaling group. Instead of the traditional Bible study format, we simply take a verse of scripture and do some creative journaling with it in our Bibles. Here are some things that would be great to have for those who do love to get creative in their study time.

Scripture Trinkets and Accessories

A Christian woman can never have enough trinkets and embellishments to use during her Bible study time or for creative journaling! Here are just a few things that would make excellent additions to a larger gift (or even for stocking stuffers!)

Prayer Tin

Prayer Cards with Keepsake Tin

Keepsake Gift Tin Box to hold cards. Pretty enough to keep on display on the kitchen counter, small enough to be portable. 50 Double-Sided Prayer Cards. The front side has a variety of prayers and the backside is blank for personal thoughts or prayers.

Promises of God Cards

A box of blessings made for sharing with all of the women you appreciate having in your life, these are 51 – 2 sided, playing card size, inspirational messages in a box. Give all at once to draw from for a ‘lift’, or keep a box to tuck a blessing into a lunch bag, briefcase, travel bag, pocket or purse (etc.), or to pass around.

Inspirational Coffee Mug

Whether she drinks coffee or tea, every woman loves a new coffee mug with her favorite verse of scripture or other pretty designs.

Bible Study Group Gift Ideas for Women

The women in our Bible study groups are some of the best friends and relationships we have in our lives. Give them something this holiday season that will help them in their walk with God and show that you care!

Another great idea is to combine a few of these into a gift basket to be given away to one member of the group during your Christmas gift exchange or to be given to your Bible study group leader as a special thank you for leading your group.
